We all know that we will experience a certain amount of stress in life, but that too much stress can have a negative impact on both our work and home lives. This session starts with an exploration of web-based resources on stress and health risks. Next, tools and techniques will be introduced to help participants understand their own stress comfort zone and how they can take steps to reduce environmental stressors, physical stressors, task stressors and other sources of stress. Finally, the group will share and discuss various ways to reduce stress so that participants can be proactive in taking steps to reduce stress in their daily lives. Mike will be using elements from The Servant Manager: 203 Tips from the Best Places to Work in America along with current research on this topic for today’s presentation.
